I always miss the Sagittarius end of the Milky Way as it leaves our skies for the fall and winter seasons. This panorama, taken from Zion National Park's famous tunnel switchbacks, shows both ends as the light of day begins to intrude in the east, and the light of a nearby city almost overpowers it in the west.
